WARRANTY POLICY
At Primerephone, we stand behind the quality of our products. However, because we sell a variety of goods ranging from professional machinery to delicate repair parts, different warranty conditions apply per product category.
1. Pre-owned Devices and new devices
All our pre-owned and refurbished devices come with a 12-month limited technical warranty.

What is covered: Internal hardware defects, such as motherboard issues, touch-screen failure, or battery malfunctions (not caused by usage).

What is NOT covered: * Liquid/water damage.

Physical damage (cracked screens, housing damage).

Defects caused by third-party repairs or software modifications (jailbreaking).

Normal battery wear and tear over time.

2. Professional Equipment & Machinery
All soldering stations, laser machines, and professional repair tools come with a 12-month manufacturer warranty.

Coverage: Technical manufacturing defects and electronic failures.

Exclusions: Wear-and-tear parts (e.g., soldering tips, heating elements, laser lenses) and damage caused by improper voltage or misuse.
3. Repair Parts (Screens, Batteries, Flex Cables)
IMPORTANT: Limited "Dry-Test" Warranty applies. Repair parts are delicate components that can be damaged instantly by incorrect installation. Therefore, we apply a strict warranty for parts:

Dead-on-Arrival (DOA): We provide a warranty for manufacturing defects found BEFORE installation.

The Dry-Test Rule: You must test the part's functionality by connecting the flex cables without removing any protective films and without mounting or gluing the part.

Warranty Voided if: 1. The part has been installed, glued, or screwed in. 2. Protective films or warranty seals have been removed. 3. Flex cables are creased, torn, or show signs of pressure damage. 4. There are signs of "DIY" installation errors.
4. How to Claim Warranty
If you encounter a technical defect within the warranty period, please follow these steps:

Email us: Contact info@primerephone.com with your order number.

Evidence: Attach clear photos and/or a short video showing the defect.

RMA: After approval, you will receive an RMA number and shipping instructions.

Inspection: Our technicians will inspect the item. If the defect is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the item free of charge.
5. Costs & Shipping

Within the first 14 days of purchase, if a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will cover the return shipping costs.

After 14 days, the customer is responsible for shipping the item to our service center in Rotterdam for inspection.
